Updated Communications Center Supervisor Courses

Introduction to APCO’s Updated Communications Center Supervisor Courses — Launching in January 2020

Beginning January 2020, the APCO Institute will offer updated editions of its Communication Center Supervisor (CCS) and Communications Center Supervisor Instructor (CCS Instructor) courses. The curriculum and course content have been rewritten, revised and updated to reflect new information and best practices. For the first time, the CCS course will require that you recertify every two years. Recertification is currently required for CCS Instructor.

The new courses are titled CCS, 5th Edition, Version 1, and CCS Instructor, 5th Edition, Version 1. They replace the previous editions of the classes – CCS, 4th Edition, and CCS Instructor, 4th Edition (CCS Instructor 4.0).
