Workgroup Selection

There are four workgroups to select from:

  • Education
    This group will create or gather materials that explain AI concepts and how they apply to emergency response and public safety communications systems including through the identification of applicable use cases.

  • Risks & Challenges
    This group will identify the risks and challenges associated with using AI in emergency response and public safety communications systems. They will also develop guidelines for responsible implementation.

  • Implementation
    This group will focus on general issues that affect the adoption of AI in emergency response systems. This includes tackling the potentially complex and expansive challenge of integrating AI into existing legacy infrastructure.

  • Legal & Policy
    This group will identify existing legal requirements, including those related to liability, acceptable risk, intellectual property rights and regulatory compliance.
