Learn More About Online Courses
APCO recognizes that you have a busy schedule and that working in an ECC is not a traditional 9-to-5 role. For this reason, all Institute courses are delivered online. Online courses are not self-paced. They are instructor-led and require engagement and participation. With 24-hour access from any internet-enabled device, participants can train at times that best fit their schedules while still following a structured course format.

Course Format and Benefits
How long does it take to complete an online course? APCO Institute Online delivers instructor-led courses entirely through the internet. These courses are not self-paced; participants follow a structured schedule and engage in guided learning activities led by an instructor. Course lengths vary depending on the program, typically ranging from two to six weeks. Participants should expect to dedicate approximately 4–5 hours per week to each course. This time includes both online activities, such as coursework and interaction with instructors and fellow participants, as well as offline work, including reading assignments and completing coursework.
Do I have to be online at a certain time?
Online courses are instructor-led and follow a structured schedule; they are not self-paced.
Online courses begin on either Monday or Wednesday. New course modules and assignments are released weekly on the course start day. Participants may access and work through the course materials at times that are convenient for them, however, participation is required. Each participant must log in and engage in the course by the second day of each week (Wednesday/Friday). All assignments, quizzes, and exams must be completed and submitted by Sunday or Tuesday following the module release, depending on the course schedule.
Several courses do require scheduled meetings, such as instructor courses and EMD. The instructor will post available times in the classroom.Do online courses have real instructors?
Online courses are instructor-led by one of our esteemed adjunct instructors who will interact with participants and provide feedback on assignments. -

We recommend that you do not register yourself or others for an online course if you anticipate being unavailable during the course period. -
