1. Minimum Eligibility Requirements

Which of the following criteria for eligibility for the CPE Program do you meet?*

Current certification as an APCO Registered Public-Safety Leader (RPL) plus eight years of full-time experience in public safety communications, with at least four years full-time as a supervisor, manager, or director (must be current position).

Associate degree plus six years of full-time experience in public safety communications, with at least three years full-time as a supervisor, manager, or director (must be current position).

Bachelor’s, master’s, or higher degree plus four years of full-time experience in public safety communications, with at least two years full-time as a supervisor, manager, or director (must be current position).
