Motorola Solutions Foundation Awards $60,000 Grant to APCO International for Professional Development Scholarships

APCO members may apply for scholarship funds beginning January 1

Alexandria, VAMotorola Solutions Foundation, the charitable arm of Motorola Solutions, recently awarded a $60,000 grant to the  Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International. Administered through APCO’s Commercial Partner Scholarship Program, this initiative aims to make scholarship funds readily available to emergency communications professionals for education, training and professional development programs.

The scholarship application window opens on January 1, 2024. Funds awarded may be applied to APCO Institute training and professional development programs offered between July 1, 2024, and June 30, 2025. The APCO Institute is the educational, training and certification division of APCO International, and offers comprehensive training options, including live sessions, virtual classrooms and online courses.
