Boulder Police and Fire Communications Receives APCO Agency Training Program Certification

Alexandria, VA – Boulder Police and Fire Communications, CO, has received Agency Training Program Certification, a Project 33® Initiative, from the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International.

Public safety agencies use the APCO International Agency Training Program Certification as a formal mechanism to ensure their training programs meet APCO American National Standards.

“Effective initial training as well as continuing education is integral to the success of emergency communications centers,” said APCO International President Becky Neugent. “Aligning public safety telecommunicator training to an American National Standard illustrates an agency’s commitment to its citizens and fellow responders.”

Boulder Police and Fire Communications will be recognized during the Food for Thought Luncheon taking place as part of APCO’s 90th Annual Conference & Expo in Orlando, FL, August 4-7, 2024.
