Charlene Fisk, the information and technology coordinator for the Town of Norton (Mass.) was a dedicated Life and Senior Member of APCO International. She passed away May 6, 2026.
Fisk began her public safety career at Seekonk (Massachusetts) Police Department in July 1996. She moved to Town of Norton in September 2006 and later returned in August 2018, serving as information and technology coordinator until her death.
Fisk joined APCO International in March 2000 and earned both Life Member and Senior Member status. She served as Atlantic Chapter Executive Council Representative, East Coast Regional Representative, Group Leader, committee leader and an Atlantic APCO Chapter Officer. She sat on the board from 2020 to 2022. She held RPL and CPE certifications and was a proud member of CPE Class 4. Fisk previously served on several APCO committees such as Member & Chapter Services Committee, Professional Development Events Committee, Finance and Budget Committee, Project 43 Working Groups, Bylaws Committee and many more.
Colleagues remembered her as a friend, mentor and dedicated professional.
