Public safety frequency coordinators, radio engineers and other interested persons participated at APCO 2025 in a day of training on the Computer Assisted Pre-coordination Resource & Database (CAPRAD) system. CAPRAD is supported by the Department of Homeland Security’s Science and Technology Directorate (DHS S&T), which also partially underwrote the training and participated along with FCC representatives in the discussions of current issues around 700 MHz and 800 MHz regional spectrum planning.
