Participants for this session included individuals interested in a promotion as well as agencies preparing for a promotional process. Topics included steps to take when preparing for a promotion, such as gathering information about the role, listing achievements, awards and tasks completed, and highlighting what makes you a stronger candidate for the position. APCO standards that create a path for promotion by listing the core competencies and minimum training requirements for various roles in the ECC were also discussed.
