CAC Scholarship Donations

Invest in the future of public safety communications professionals – your donation will make a difference.

"The scholarship awards have allowed me to continue my slow steady progress without interruption as I continue to seek my degree. The gratitude that I have for the financial support makes me emotional. I'm not sure that businesses have the full understanding of the impact their donations make on the lives of those they help. My hope is that one day they will see their investment in me has provided a return that makes them proud."

The Commercial Advisory Council (CAC) Scholarship Program Fund is a means for APCO commercial members to give back to the working telecommunicators in the public safety community. Donations are accepted throughout the year and disbursed to qualified APCO members for public safety job-related training. APCO Institute administers the scholarship funds that are received through the CAC.

"Offering this scholarship is a great way to ensure that public safety telecommunicators receive training opportunities. The RPL on-line program was a great course and I was afforded the opportunity to take it because the scholarship minimized the cost to my agency. I learned a great deal and was able to interact with other public safety leaders and learn from them. This is a great resource and is especially needed in these hard economic times."
