Tech for Execs is a specialized technical program designed for the unique educational needs of executive and/or strategic, decision making level public safety communications professionals.

APCO International has partnered with Public Technology Institute to provide a cutting edge program that will provide the critical knowledge and tools required for executive leaders to more efficiently and effectively manage the technical functions of a public safety communications agency.

Tech for Execs Qualifications

  1. Attendees must be an elected local government official or be employed by a local government department or agency that regularly uses public safety communications services.
  2. Attendees must be at a strategic, decision-making level (which may include elected officials) or executive management level (i.e., elected officials, Fire Chief, Police Chief, Sheriff, or Director of a department that provides public safety services in a department or agency).

Attendees of the 2009 Tech for Execs program are also eligible to receive credits towards APCO International’s RPL program.
