COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT

The Shoshone
County Sheriff's Department is soliciting responses
from qualified and interested firms to provide a comprehensive, fully
integrated, public-safety information management system. The
agency invites public safety system vendors to submit a written response
to this RFP/Bid.
Reliability
in the area of public safety is a must, and the public safety force relies
heavily on the ability to accurately and efficiently access records and
data as well as process information and offenders quickly and logically.
The Agency has a system that runs the records management, dispatching and
reporting functions. This system no longer meets the demands of departmental
use and has reached the extent of its life. The County is searching for
a solution to replace this system that not only will continue to address
the same functions, but will also enhance service and efficiency by providing
software and solutions to areas that had not been incorporated previously.
The
project scope, content of proposal, and vendor selection process are summarized
in the RFP/Bid. Proposals must be received no later than 1:30 p.m.
PST, Wednesday, January 11, 2012.
Proposals
will not be accepted after the date and time stated above. Incomplete proposals
that do not conform to the requirements specified in the RFP/Bid will not
be considered. Issuance of the RFP/Bid does not obligate the County to award
a contract, nor is the County liable for any costs incurred by the vendor
in the preparation and submittal of proposals for the subject work. The
County retains the right to award all or parts of this contract to several
bidders, to not select any bidders, and/or to re-solicit proposals. The
act of submitting a proposal is a declaration the vendor has read the RFP/Bid
and understands all the requirements and conditions.
