| Storage of materials will be provided for a period of 12 months after use. If disposal instructions are not received by the end of the period, materials will be destroyed. | Printing process is done via a Web Press. The binding methods are perfect bound and saddle stitched. The colors that are available are Four-Color Process. |

| Art should be submitted as a digital file. Ads are produced at SWOP standards: no more than 280% density. 133 line screen. | Matchprint or Cromalin is required for color ads. Velox or high-quality laser proof laser proof required for B&W ads unless customer accepts responsibility for reproduction without same. |

| Ads may be
submitted on Mac-format CD. Disks can be
returned upon request. Multiple files (placed art, fonts, etc.) should be compressed into a single
attachment using sit, sea, or zip formats.
Please include the designer's name and phone number in case we cannot process the file. |
Send 1 proof with each ad. Color proofs for 4-color ads, grayscale (laser) for B&W ads. |

| TIFF:
We prefer flat TIFF files in CMYK or grayscale at 1200 dpi in order to
eliminate many of the problems that can occur with other formats.
PDF: Full-page ads may be submitted as PDF files. Set page size to include bleed and send all fonts used. Do not set registration or crop marks. DCS-2: Provide as non-RIPped DCS-2. The magazine is produced on a Mac
using QuarkXpress 6, illustrator 10, and Photoshop CS. Ads may also
be accepted in these formats, but must include all placed art, logos, and
complete PostScript fonts (screen and printer) to produce correctly.
Placed logos should be TIFF, or flat EPS files from Photoshop, or Illustrator. Lettering in logos should be converted to paths. |

| Flattened TIFF, Photoshop, or DCS-2 files may be submitted as-is. For other formats, complete PostScript fonts (screen and printer) to produce your ad correctly. We cannot accept TrueType fonts. Please refrain from using screen styles to alter a font's appearance (such as bold, outline, shadow, etc. in QuartXpress). | Ads not ready for placement and requiring additional work to prepare, or changes requested after submission, will be billed at a minimum of $100 per ad. |

| Payment can be
made by check, money order, certified check, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or
American Express. Credit may be established by submitting an APCO credit application and obtaining approval prior to insertion. Terms: Net 30; 1.5% per month interest applied to balances unpaid 30 days after date of invoice. APCO reserves the right to revoke credit to any advertiser or agency with a balance 60 days or more overdue. |
Recogonized ad agencies can qualify for a 15-percent discount if payment is received within 30 days of invoice date. There are no exceptions to this rule. Advertiser and agency are jointly and severally liable for payment. Contracts, insertion orders, purchase orders, ec. containing sequential liability clauses will not be accepted. |
| BUSINESS REPLY CARDS | INDEMNITY, RIGHTS RESERVED |
| A reader information request card number is assigned to each ad. This is provided as a courtesy. There is no charge for this service and no portion of any rate includes this service. Neither APCO International nor the publisher shall be held liable, nor shall any rate be adjusted, for any act, commission, or error involving the reader information card. |
Publisher reserves the right to refuse material deemed unsuitable. Advertiser agrees to indemnify APCO against any loss, damages or expenses resulting from libelous copy or unauthorized use of any name, photograph, sketch, pictures or words protected by copyright, trademarks, or privacy laws in connection with advertising. |
