PERFECT STORM RESCUE CAPTAIN LARRY BRUDNICKI TO KEYNOTE APCO ANNUAL CONFERENCE

May 14, 2007, Washington, D.C. - The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International announced today that Captain Larry Brudnicki will be the keynote speaker of its 73rd Annual Conference and Exposition.

Using lessons-learned from his experience during the legendary Perfect Storm, Captain Brudnicki will share with attendees seven steps to make the correct decisions even in the most difficult circumstances. Attendees will learn the advantages that Captain Brudnicki honed during his 30-year career with the Coast Guard, including two dramatic rescues during the real Perfect Storm.

“His keynote address is guaranteed to motivate, inspire, and educate even the most seasoned public safety professional,” APCO International President Wanda McCarley said. “After participating in this keynote address, you will be positioned to achieve high performance results against all odds.”

The APCO International 73rd Annual Conference and Exposition will be held August 5-9 at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Md. Captain Brudnicki will be speaking at the Opening General Session on Monday, August 6.
