Region 14 (Indiana) Public Safety Regional Planning Comittees

On January 24, the 800 MHz Regional Conformance and Review Committee (RCRC) meeting will convene at 10:00a.m. at the Indiana Department of Transportation Traffic Management Center.  Immediately following, Region 14 will convene its 700 MHz Regional Planning Committee meeting.  Both meetings are open to the public.  For additional information, please contact Alex R. Last Minute Victory for Public Safety 

Before adjourning for the year, Congress passed the Call Home Act of 2006 (S. 2653). The bill includes language to speed up the distribution of $1 billion dollars in funding of public safety interoperable communications grants that were made available in the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 (Law 109-171).  Visit http://commerce.senate.gov/public/index.cfm?FuseAction=PressReleases.Detail&PressRelease_id=248701&Month=12&Year=2006 for more information.

National Baseline Survey Findings Show Significant Levels of Interoperability Across the Nation

Cyren Call Petition Update
