APCO Kicks Off National Public Safety Telecommunications Week
APCO International kicked off National Public Safety Telecommunications Week with a press conference and communications center tour last week at the Fairfax County (Va) Department of Public Safety Communications. "Although APCO International does all it can to honor these people throughout the year, National Public Safety Telecommunications Week has been set aside so that everyone can be made more aware of your hard work and dedication which provides a vital link to the public safety services

NJTI Releases Model Recommendations for TERT Deployment
The National Joint TERT Initiative (NJTI) has completed the Model Recommendations for TERT Deployment (MRTD). The MRTD is in draft form and open for comment.
